Well we are deep into the summer now and are experiencing our busiest season for some years. There is a new school being built on the Island which has doubled the usual tonnage of freight over the quay for the last few months and is set to continue well into next year. We have also had almost twice the amount of cruise ship visits and a marked increase in the number of visiting yachts partly due to some fantastic weather.
After a two month spell with no Harbour Master. Mr Dale Clark was thrown into the deep end at the beginning of July and is settling in perfectly.
