July 13

The last month proved busier than the same last year with some 550 visiting yachts nights used. With visitors from France, Ireland, Holland and of course, the UK, our days are kept busy entertaining.  For the most part the weather has been fine which has allowed us to repaint the Hulman starboard hand mark which lies at the southern end of Tresco Channel. The mark was replaced 18 months ago with a stainless item along with the port hand Rags mark also. We also spent a while refurbishing the ladder on the bare end of the quay which has been replaced in the last couple of days.

Earlier in the month we were subject to our annual government led security audit which was carried out successfully whilst later in the month we conducted one of our bi-annual Harbour User Group meetings in which we meet with stakeholder to discuss any matters arising.
