A few less movements this month with just three cruise ships visiting. The 14745grt Windsurf was the first arriving on the morning of the 4^th. Her second visit of the year saw her land 247 passengers here on St Mary’s with a similar number heading to Tresco to sample the delights of the Abbey Gardens. The larger Marco Polo arrived on the 12^th landing 718 passengers ashore and completing her third visit for the year before leaving the same evening through the North West Passage under Pilotage by Jeremy Phillips. The final visit of the month, and indeed for the cruising season came on the 22^nd in the form of the 9975grt Seabourne Pride, built in 1988 in Bremerhaven, Germany, she has visited a few times over recent years and carries a maximum of 400 guests.
